I went to see Super 8 this evening. I am mostly definitely a JJ Abrams fan and overall I enjoyed it. The story was good, more character driven, than mythology/sci-fi driven. I expected more sci-fi/monsters/aliens, the alien story was actually bordering on lame; the kids were funny though and I can always use an extra dose of Kyle Chandler in my life. Overall I'd give the movie a solid B+
