Best Laid Plans

For the past few weeks, this quote has been following me around. In TV shows, on the radio, it just seems to pop up every couple of days. In a literal sense I understand what it's saying, but I'm not sure how it applies to me yet. I'll have to keep thinking about it, but either way it's good advice.
